I'd like to start a reference thread to help fellow Mini owners.?
If you know of a good, reliable source for parts and tires please add it to this thread. Also state the countries they sellhave to as well for easy reference.good

I have found Minimania is very reliable here in the US. So I'll have start the list off.

Hunter Classic Sports Cars - http://www.hunterclassicsportscars.ca/
Located in Victoria, BC Canada
He's been a great source of parts (locally) for those of us on the Westcoast here.

The only online parts retailer I've used that was reliable and prompt with good communications and sells quality parts....

was minispares.

Though I have yet to use 7 enterprise.
http://www.7ent.com/
They are a KAD and Swiftune dealer in America, though, at the prices they are charging, it would be more cost effective to buy direct from the UK for those in Canada.
They seem like a great place if you want performance parts rather than just the standard part.

Hunterclassics as suggested above is great for tires.

I have bought parts from these guys:
http://gbcarparts.com/
Some times they have a little cheaper price or they might have an oddball part that nobody else has.

Anybody has any experience with:
http://www.minisport-usa.com/
The local USA contact is Mike Guido in Palm Bay not far from me. However, apparently it is just a sales office, they do not stock parts.
Mike's website:
http://www.godsavetheclown.com/
I am not sure about ordering parts from a clown......
He also runs the Classic Mini club

I have purchased the majority of my parts from 7 Ent and they are excellent to deal with. Jack is knowledgeable and they carry a lot in stock. Most of it is sourced from the UK suppliers (Mini Spares and the like).

I tend to buy all over the place, depending on prices. Craig Hunter is a good guy in Victoria for sure. ebay.co.uk is a bit of a crapshoot, but I've had pretty good luck with some things, particularly from minimine-ltd (they're a spares supplier from Stoke-on-Trent). Shipping over isn't too bad if the part is small enough to go Royal Mail Small Packets.

Have gotten a few good used parts (e.g. front subbie) for decent prices from a guy named Rudy in Toronto. He advertises on kijiji.ca and at the Vancouver Mini Club want ads. Looks like he's mostly a breaker, but the parts I've gotten have been clean and in good shape. He also ships Greyhound Courier in Canada, which is cheap and pretty quick if you have a Greyhound depot nearby. His photos of Minis cut in half and so forth are heartbreaking however!

There's a surprising (to me) number of listed Mini parts on The Ka-jeeg (www.kijiji.ca) here in Ontario at times...at your own risk, of course.

Bought a couple things last year from gb as the prices were quite good, but they seem to be all over the map; some items super cheap, and others sky-high or they don't stock at all. Got my spotlamp bar from Mike and he was good to deal with. Minisport USA's stuff all ships from the UK though, so it's pricey.

Sorry...one more:

MacGregor British Car Parts in Dundas, ON http://www.macgregorukcarparts.com/

Met the owner last year...heck of a nice guy. UK immigrant who worked for BMC for many years fitting interiors. Chatted for ages! He goes to the British car meets in Southern Ontario in the summer (Lindsey's "Motors on Main" or whatever it's called, one in Kingston I think). Prices weren't cheap, but at least he seemed to be decent to deal with.
