Been out playing today, took the exhaust off my old mini its a new 'boxer' system from huddersfield mini spares i will be using this for the vtec, and had a look at the rear subby, its way too far gone to use, i'll have to get a new one. wont be able to get anything done now till im back from holiday on 8th april:( but then hopefully Pete will be welding the new subframe mounts onto me new shell for me;), then it'll just be a case of takin the front off and it'll be ready for paint, so i better get saving:)

ordered me dash!:D fibreglass one from A Series Supplies looks the same as Ade and Pete's, should get it in about a week. Eddie has done a good deal £200 for dash, centre console and postage! he has been more than flexible with regards to payment aswell, as i cant pay him till tomorrow, not a service you will get from most suppliers!

:D

Looks good. What subframe are you going to use to hold the engine or are you going to engineer your own? I love the way that front flips up, brilliant idea. half considerd making my fiberglass one do that but would probably need some sort of frame to strengthen and support it :D

Fair play, Ive never seen the fronts lift up like that on the pic. There are some cheap fronts on ebay as we speak, biggav gave me the heads up the item number is 4626072887.

Im probably gonna just weld some genuine panels together for the front, they fit better! not too bothered about the weight, it'll still be rapid!

Dolts,

You do know that the Allspeed says the frame will fit under a standard round nose, but no-one has done it so it MIGHT not fit.

Just thought i would say because, all Allspeed seemed to do to see if it will fit under the round nose is lay a bonnet over the engine.

:P another vtec build!

you might want to think twice about the boxer exhaust as honda come with 2.5inch bore out the factory so you nock quite a bit of power off. B16A engine come available all the time and there is someone selling a 49000KM one on the crx boards right now for £350, quite reasonably priced i think :- when looking for an engine listen to it first and make sure it has no top end rattles
