i want to take out my back seats and make a space for subs and amps and stuff, has anyone done this b4, pls tell me what it involves and what problems u came across, pics would be helpful aswell

ive taken the seats out, its just what to do after that, i was thinking of a carpeted platform. i'd like some ideas

If you want to do it. I'll flog you a I ready made rack for twin 12's. Made out of MDF and carpeted.
I'll e-mail you a pic of what it looked like when it was in my car.

Here is a pic for everyone's benefit now that uploads are working. I have already sold the subs amps parcel shelf and 6x9s, but still have the Twin sub rack/board.

I will take one of the board now it is out, so you can get a good look at it.
This method is never gonna be as good as a sealed enclosure but works pretty good. The space created between the board and rear bench make for surprisingly good acoustics.

Also free movement subs (a lot of big names do em now) may work better in this set up. The square Kickers solabaric ones are supposed to be the best.
