They have a Mini badge on the front, so theyll keep appearing on this forum. Deal with it.
The mods will close down any threads that get out of hand anyway.

TMF is BMW MINI tolerant and posts that are in any way offensive towards owners of BMW MINI's will be removed and the forum member will be warned. Continual disregarding of this will result in further action being taken.
The above was taken from the Mini Forum rules and regulations.
Several members own both Bini and the classic so its only prudent we allow discusssion on them both.
Sadly for the majority of these threads they do,for the most part have the same outcome which is unfortunate.
In short if you dont want to read about them then dont open the thread.

You scroll down the chat threads and there is 4 threads about new minis this isn't the place for it and it just turns into bini bashing everytime STOP IT! I come on here to read about classic minis i would go in the new mini forum if i wanted to see about them! Rant over!!!!!!!!!!

But this just says it's tolorant not that it's for both new and old! Maybe make a section for bini threads then people will not go in there if they don't like them i think it's annoying seeing them in the generalmini chat. Just an idea. The BMW MINI

Oh well just my say! It's my personal feelings i am on here everyday and allways thought it was a mini forum i have seen many bini owners turned away and told to post in the bini forum! That's why i thought it was for the classics! I think there should be a small section for bini posts that will stop a lot of the bashing and we wont have to see them all the time
Did your mother never say "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."?
New MINI owners are directed towards MINI2.com and similar sites when they come here asking for technical advice as the majority of TMF's technical knowledge applies to the classic Mini. We don't turn them away because they aren't welcome.
A MINI only section wouldn't mean no "BINI bashing" it'd just mean those that do it could target their efforts more. Albeit that would just get them banned faster, haha.
Going to move this to forum feedback and questions too.
