What I found ironic was there was a load of parts on the back of a truck? already waiting for him, in decent condition

I'm off to watch Wheeler Dealers now on Discovery, Mike and Ed are tarting up a Mk2 Jag tonight, they will probably do a better job than that lot on Channel 5.

It's repeated Thurs at 19.00hrs. Going to give it a watch, only caught the end last night. Looked like a bit of a rip-off of Wheeler Dealers.

What's the big deal about sun roofs, it rains to much in the UK for any sensible use and in a hot climate you would leave it and the internal cover if it has one closed to keep the sun out or the drips from the melted ice in winter. You ever worked in a green house?

That's a load of bull  It really doesn't take much effort to open and close a sunroof ;D the only problem with them is that they are prone to leaking, which mine doesn't luckily :proud:

the point is that it just looks tacky on the car, in fact any car. It's the same cheap rubbish that Maccess used to sell for £30 in the 1980s.

I can safely assume you have never worked in a green house.

theres was about a minute of spanner turning, the first quarter of it was wasted on the sourcing of the car which wastes a lot of tv time it should only be about a minute segment i think. No mention of how the interior was done just them two pushing in the seat and sitting on it and i dont understand why they didnt paint it the original colour too but i suppose puting a nice brighter colour does make it look better but then it looses originality though.

the best restoration shows are as mentioned earlier are a car/mg/truck etc is born. after watching them you think i can do that lets do it

I've just watch it on Demand 5, hat a load of crap. It's worse than Chop Shop for staged arguments, and just as bad for bodged repairs.

Next time they are messing about with an old 911, can't wait to see how cheaply they get the parts for that.

Truly awful. And shed loads of continuity errors. In one shot he gets a 'cheap second hand disc' and later on its shown with brand new discs. It was so bad it was almost funny, sadly only almost funny.

The classic car version of 'Changing Rooms'.........not enough time to do the job properly so bodge it........roughly grind off the paint, skim the whole car in filler to disguise the surface damage caused.......however it was good of them to demonstrate to any potential buyers watching how the paint and filler falls off in sheets if you have a minor impact......might as well filled the glass sunroof hole while they were at it with some filler and wire mesh.....sadly 'dumbed down' TV at its worst with the usual recaps after every ad break for the channel hoppers and to pad out the hour. Posted Image

Did not see him try his buyers magnet test on the body afterwards and did they 'repair' the piston mentioned with filler too? Posted Image

They 'Repaired' a worn piston , that was causing the miss fire - and all the smoke from both pipes ?

I loved the guy grinding down the bodywork - then spending hours refilling it

a da sander would have been a better idea
