Bloody hell, just read all of that. What a story! One of you locals- help him fix the motor! I am glad we don't have all that dvla nonsense in new Zealand, it sounds like a nightmare.

I actually may be able to source a 998 engine - running. Just need to contact the owner.
I'll do that right now! I really want to get this car ready for the summer. I know we've just entered spring but I'll just get jealous of you all driving around in the sun with the windows down otherwise!
