The title does a good job of summing it up really. They are twin 1 1/2" SU's they don't have the same flange at the inlet as hs4's. The have small trumpets fitted and new floats and needle valves the carbs look pretty much new and were sold to me as rebuilt however i haven't stripped them apart from the floatbwls to verify this. The manifold is an alexander aeg181 these originally took strombergs and it was a period modification to fit SU's on this manifold as it flowed well (so i am told). The linkages are custom and the heatshields and spacers have been adapted to fit as the mounting is different to a manifold designed for hs4's. The manifold has been ported to match the large bore inlet and exhaust gasket so this is perfect addition to make the most of a nicely ported head and stay in keeping with the period look. Should all be ready to go although i can't make any guarantee as i never got round to fitting them as i changed engine specs and needed bigger carbs. Just need the fuel pipes connecting and setting up for your engine.

Would this bolt straight onto a 1275 head?

They would bolt straight up, but the flow wouldn't be best, as the ports on the standard head are smaller than on this manifold. using on a head with the ports matched to the large bore gaskets it will give much better flow. This is common for modified heads.
Thanks
