Best bet is to try ringing up your network provider and ask why? Maybe there still in progress of switching it over?

Have you switched cell service provider at all? I had no signal whatsoever after I moved from O2 (Uk) to Vodafone (UK). I had to send an unlock request to O2 & then activate my new Vodafone sim through iTunes, the whole thing was a pain in the neck but worked eventually.

I'm still on O2. Some forums online say is a user name & password thing on the network settings but I can't work it out.

Going online my O2 account says that my new tariff is currently active
