can you show us a picture of them?

i was offered some 12" wheels the other day, and they were gkn cast wheels. however i think they might be early metro challenge wheels? i would know if i saw the ones your after.

just to confirm from my previous reply, on the list below there is a picture of "GKN Silverstone, 5x12" which i what i believe you are looking for?

however directly below in the same list is a picture of "Unipart GAW122, 5x12 Made by GKN" which i do know where there is a set of and are in very good condition.
http://www.wheeldict...ry.net/12a.html
the casting is the same apart from the extra ribs on the centre section either side of the stud holes. other than that the first type has the tips of they spokes machined off to match the raised centre ring which is on both types.

contradicting this though, this site shows the first picture, with the part number of the second type?
http://www.austinmin.../12 wheels.html

hope that isnt too confusing?

anyway, the wheels i know of are these ones, the guy wants £250 for them

Thank you for all your efforts, I have a few pictures of the old car and looking at it and what you have found the direct match is the Unipart GAW 122 wheel, I think it was made by GKN so I need 4 of them ? any one have any
