Glad that you're still keeping at it. We're all rooting for you. 

 

The gear selector is another part that you've done a really nice job cleaning up. It's nice to see old parts getting restored.

I got the gearlever mechanism built up and completed today. Fitted new nylon bushes where needed and the detent spring. Feels really smooth now, even without being fitted to the car.

I also fitted the very first part I bought for the car (10 years ago already). Feeling rather nostalgic :

The only good thing about being signed off from work at the mo is that I get to read all these brilliant threads from start to finish in one go.

Just wanted to say what an epic journey that you're on with this fabulous Mini (& the 1275gt too!). Love all the unique touches you've made to make her your own. I think we'll all be there in spirit when you first fire her up and get out on the road.

Bloody hell, I was considering doing mine but jut can't bring myself too  :lol: Good effort! ... How did you do it? Literally edit each post individually and replace one image link at a time with a new one?

i don't want to do it again, but I have two other project threads  :lol:  Basically, yes. Tedious! Especially when I've lost a couple images, so unfortunately some will be lost for good.
