I've done a little bit of cleaning lately when I've had free time and motivation. I also removed the diff in preparation of the swap to HS joints. I thought I had bought a pair of the fibre washers, but as it turns out, I didn't. I did clean up the diff housing and greased up the arms etc. No play whatsoever and it moves freely now with fresh grease.

I also had the minion dipstick turned down a bit to fit the hole, as well as change the o-rings. Fits nice and snug now. I just have a few small bits left to clean on the gearbox and clutch housing, then I'll be happy.

That diff housing really cleaned up nicely! Should be a lovely green motor with shiny aluminium parts, when you get it all assembled. Top stuff, Jared.

What are you considering? Perhaps one of the engine steadies and a thermostat cover? I absolutely love the look of those machined engine steadies!

Nah. Stuff for the clutch housing side. They're nice, but don't want to go over the top just yet.

I got my grille back from being chromed - really does look good now when compared to what it was. Unfortunately they didn't have the ability to do much between the slats, so I'll try and polish by hand, or spray silver. I'll have to decide at some point.

The shiny grille looks great! Glad that at least part of the work that you sent out, got done properly.

Not too much in the way of progress lately - work is taking up all my time and energy, especially being winter and having snow falls. I did make a start on assembling the diff today though.

Pointless picture to most, but seeing as I've never done things like this before, it's nice to say/show that I have.

And all back together, ready to fit back to the gearbox :

I also received a MiniSpares parcel and can almost complete the clutch setup. Waiting on MS to get stock of the clutch kits.

New cross pin diff looks great! I've got one of them on the shopping list for the end of my build too
