These look good and will be good for driving in areas with lots of dust.

I won't be driving in dust with this  :ohno:

But you live out in the sticks. There must be dirt roads in that area :P

I finally got the 1000S cylinder head done up - unleaded conversion and very light flow work. Had new valves, guides and seals fitted as well.

Got the head painted up today, fitted new studs and had a look at the rockers. I'll need to do some rearranging to get them to line up right. Hopefully they'll work, otherwise I have a paperweight . . .

That cylinder head looks gorgeous! Are those 1.3/1.5 lift rockers?

I made a start on the head swap this past weekend. I fitted some ARP head studs and a nice new Payen head gasket, but looks like I need some new push rods and cam followers - which means the engine is one extra step away from being fitted. Never rains, but it pours it seems.

I finally had enough money to get some more parts. Brand new steering rack being the main feature. Can also finally finish off the head job. The motor is nearly ready to go back in :

That was an MS purchase. Doug is able to get locally for a decent price.

Thanks man. I need to do a minispares order when I get back, so if it is the steering rack that is failing, then I'll add one to the list.
