As seen on the miglia minis etc a alloy or carbon fibre air box that bolts on the feeds down to either an air filter or a cold air feed ram were can i get one or do i have to make one :) thanks

Think they'll all be custom made for miglias to be honest, i've not seen them anywhere for sale.

Although for anything but top level racing I don't think the power difference will be noticeable at all. The minis grill is so big anyway there is a massive amount of cold air rushing through the engine bay at speed.

I have two cold air feeds built into my webber box , check out this months mini magazine for some pictures.

Oh yeah i see the one thats out now by the way i love you mini i looked at it for ages at london to brighton last year i also have mexico arches but only the rears fitted atm as engine is out and to high to judge were to cut :)

Nar i if i have to i will fit a weber box but iv seen webers with swan neck manifolds witha small shallow box plate fitted with a pipe coming off it

Why fit a weber with a swan neck??? Better off with the SU! You will just use a hell of a lot more fuel!!!

I think he just means a weber and an air feed can be done without a bulkhead box.

Also I wouldn't call a small box welded into the bulkhead a 'very major modification' to the bulkhead.

no but we are back to modifying the monocoque resulting in the car needing to be re-registered and a IVA test

I would rather face a iva test that run gauzer filter and run the rist of un burnt fuel catching fire and a swan neck you on lose about 4 bhp wich is not alot
