I would like to say i did it myself, however had the shell heavily modified for track use while it was still bear and prior to paint,so had a box custom made with my requirments.

Bungle needs to look at his own car before criticising others, its easy to spot potential 'iva' problems on his.

weber box is the best way to go, if you are dead set on a weber.

if you fit one on a swan neck however it is pointless, and as i have already said you will use ALOT MORE FUEL!!

you guys need to stop hating on someone who is trying to help, and is pointing out something that is very important!! in MOTs we do pick this up, and do check that its been tested

normally, they pass. they could only fail if you held it in with pop rivets and filler... a good weld around it would be ideal. but when you fit it make sure that the dial pod fits! Obviously you cant use a center pod but the later style one will be good. just leave it in the car when fitting.

you can buy the weber boxes from minispeed, i can vouch for them they are very nice and fit straight in! a battery box will work but is about the same price and does need fettling to fit

sounds ideal then. when fitting i would have the dash mocked up in place with dials and cables run so you dont punch yourself in the face later on in the build... i know, i have been there, done that! :P

i did it with no engine in, and made it dead centeral. but it would be a good idea to take measurements of where the manifold face on the cylinder head it in proportion to the bulkhead, and how far back the weber will be

measure twice cut once! :P
