Right, I've decided I need to work out my options and get rid of the Mini.

So, can I have a fresh set of opinions please? Bearing in mind I need to decide what to do.

Option A: How much is it worth as it is, the car runs (very well). Has an MOT until July and tax until then too (not that tax is important as it's free)
Option B: How much is this worth with a full respray in black, professionally done, with a fresh MOT for the sale?

Basically, is it worth me paying my GF's brother to spray this for me. He's restored a lot of cars over the years and the bodywork will be spot on if he does it. I'd be gutted to sell it as it is as I feel like the bodywork does let it down, but I do need to sell this soon if I'm honest. I want to pop a GTI-6 engine in the 205 and I also want to put some more money towards a house deposit.

Well, I got about £3k for the bits I stripped off it.

 

So now I'm down to a rolling shell.  Got an original subframe for the front for £60, bought a rebuilt 1330 for £200 (with a rebuilt gearbox included).  Spent about £400 on panels and £300 on paint.....let the rebuild commence!
