thank you brilliant post ...a good panel beater could knock these out in his sleep the body is like new in places it looks worse than it is ...thanks again
well its been out just over a month and we will slowly get it back on the road the floor pan is solid and so is most of the car
wow, so thats what happened to it, i remember wondering what happened to it wanting to know who got hold of it ages ago since i saw it here....

awsome stuff mate, i will follow your progress on here, get a mod to make this your resto thread and slap a load more pictures up for us to see :)
dont listen to people who say leave it there, i say nice one for saving it from the scrap heap or being used as landfill on the old longbridge site....if offered to the forum members i wonder how many would turn it down.....
i see in the vid it looks solid theres people on here including myself who are restoring rot boxes, theres even a guy who has pulled a mk3 mini out of a hedge that had sunk into the ground upto the sills and replaced everything but the roof
so i say good luck and i await more updates!

Surely there'll be some creases where it's been bashed?its a mini ....this is a forum for mini lovers ...it should be out and them panels with a bit of time and a bit of hard work they dont need to be replaced
I think it should've been left there, as a ghost of the past, because you'll be needing new panels for it, therefore it isn't "as is" if you get what I mean...
I think it's great that you're trying to restore it, but I think I preferred it down in the tunnel, ownerless.

Methinks lots of photo's are the order of the day documenting your progress.
It would be a-lot of hassle but imagine time lapsing the rebuild, now that really would be cool!
