Just picked this one up today

1971 1275GT, 99% original, except for the wheels, arches and steering wheel.

Its still on Hydrolastic

Can't wait to get it on the road.

The engine is quite smokey, so wants replacing and the exhaust is scrap, then whatever it needs for the MOT.

But at the price I paid for it its a bargin, as there are not many original GTs left

smokey engine need not mean dead engine :D

Looks a great car. I really like the 1275GT (don't like clubmans all that much), and that seems to be an earlier one, yes? 7.5" discs?

Its on 7.5's and 10 inch wheels, the only size for a real Mini.

I want to get it on the road ASAP so its going to be an engine swap, then when I have time rebuild the original, it is the original as on the log book.
