i want to rally it up a little bit, i dont want to change the wheels or interior.
the problem i have is that i have followed a gloss black on satin black for a long time, do i keep following this? or do i change it to white? stickers? sump guard? who knows! i dont want to change the ride height as i have been dying to lower it for a long long time, i drive the car regularly but not everyday anymore (hence why it being lowered is not a problem)
I have put pictures of with arches
and one without arches and lowered (recent photo)
thanks in advance! :)

The problem is that rally look and lowered wont match each other due to the sump guard.. you should raise it a bit at least 1 inch.
There was a nice clubbie at the mull rally:

I ran them on my old clubby
Which now rallys over in Ireland
And I wouldn't worry about the ride height, just think of it as tarmac spec ;)

Definitely leave it lowered. Rally cars look best in tarmac spec! I think white with all black grille and arches, Carbon bumpers, sump guard and a pair of Cibie spot lights on the front! That would look awesome! I think you will need some kind of roll cage (also in white) to complete the look!
yea im leaving it lowered :) i do love lowered cars, anyone who knows me on here, i change my mind all the time so its never the last word LOL
tarmac spec is awesome! i cant respray the car! LOL
you wont be able to see the roll cage, as I will have slightly blacked out windows soon as my seats are red and i hate seeing them from outside lol lights arent changing either
i will getting a sump guard, ive got some mud guards and a Louvre to go on, just dont know about stickers

You'll never have enough castrol stickers

the other thing, is stickers as you said, because its purely black on black ie satin black with gloss black stickers on it, do you think i should go for white ones, or stay with the style and get some gloss black versions of the normals made for a good contrast>?

I would go for white door squares, get your name/ naitionality and your 'co-drivers' on the front wings.
A couple of 70's logo's would look good, but you don't need to go mad and cover the car in stickers to get the look.
Also found a mk1 escort/mini photoshop But using mk2 escorts as a alternative basis would work well as well I reckon

Failing that, you could put some designs on blueprints of Clubbies?
Just change the colours around?

I'd be tempted to use red instead of white, will look great with matt black paint. Keep it black, black ruleZZZ :)
Also you'll find a lot of period stickers replicas on ebay, and a must for the old school rally look is a good set of dunlop tyres or even camacs...
I'd avoid a roll cage in a road going car, i know it can save your life if you roll, but it can be very very harmfull..
