Oh this brings back memories of my first mini. A 1969 (i think it was) 'H' reg 1275GT. Same steering wheel and 1275GT centre badge as yours and interior seat design, single carb, 10" Rostyle wheels, and also my 69 model was on hydrolastic suspension. Ignition key in centre dash above the heater, no steering lock.

Great project and great to here that you are going to keep it in it's original colour and trim, I've not seen a green mallard GT before.
My teal blue has the lime flower trim. The guy who restored it repainted the trim with vinyl paint that was colour matched by Woolies Trim http://www.woolies-t...renovation.aspx

Hi Rich,paint used is PJ1 engine and case satin finish,have used this paint plenty of times on engine parts with great results,plenty available through ebay but pricey with postage,I buy mine from m&p motorcycles in swansea,£9.95 a can from there. 011.jpg 43.29K 16 downloads 016.jpg 46.63K 43 downloads

hi. great project you have here, i have a mini in about the same state, was wandering how much sand blasting is? fairly new to complete rebuilds and have quite alot of paint filler and rust to get through before i do any thing else
