Loving your work and attention to detail.  Your GT will be superb when it's finished.  Can I ask how you have gone about re-plating the parts and fastenings in the shoe box pictured above,  or have you gone for all new ones?  I have seen some DIY plating kits for sale,  but not had any experience of using them.  I look forward to your reading you updates.

I had the parts re plated by a local(ish) metal finishers,it was £40 for the lot,I think it is worth the effort as there is nothing worse than seeing rusty nuts re used !!!! :)
