the first photo didnt come up lol
No idea why the first pic didn't load, but I've stuck another one up. It's the car used in the 1970 World Cup Rally.
A couple more four lamped cars
Here's the Will Sparrow car as it was found a couple of years ago
and here it is as it appeared this year at the MCR day at Beaulieu after the body had been restored
look very cool from the front!
do you think i should spray my wellers white as well? :)
i think my explorer was acting up as i can see all of it now :)

i had my local blacksmith make me some brackets ,they had a 90 degree bend on the top so bolted to the front cross member then bolted to the lower front panel ,these had a flat plate welded across to bolt the two spots to , sorry only pics i have
i have decided against to gettting two up two down as i really would need a square number plate again for it to look right LOL

I did build a 1970 Clubman GT with my buddy Geoff Loos a few years ago. It was at 1330 cc with a Weber 45DCOE, 286 cam, SC CR gearbox, 4.1:1 FDR, X-pin diff, 5" x 10" Minilite replica wheels, etc, and was featured in Mini Magazine. It was very competitive with about 105 bhp at 6400 rpm. I'll try to find a photo of it.
It was sold to Pete Tyson who lives in the Lake District and he has won several events in it.
I like Clubmen rally cars as it's so easy to get to the front of the engine and more room for the oil cooler.
wow 105bhp! nice! I DO LOVE MY CLUBMAN :) are they 7" lamps or 5"? hmmmm
thank again!

I can not find the inner lamps, but they are another Lucas type which are probably no longer produced.
Mini Spares do lamp bars, but they are for a round nose, so may not fit a square.

Get the two up two down set up and a stick on bonnet numberplate..... problemo sorted
i dont think a stick on lisence plate for a clubman would be legal to be honest because its flat :/
