how about changing the cable connection plate on the throttle body to a larger one or a snail shaped (helical) shape so that the throttle response is less aggressive to pedal movement?

That's what they did for the Metro. You need more pedal travel, or it biased to give more at the lower end. Better if the snail cam is on the pedal side of the return spring, it'll improve the feel. If you wanted to try something electronically you could make a 2 stage geared throttle and use a solenoid to lock the gears.

Just a thought does your cable go via a adaptor bracket / lever, located near o/s front bottom a arm mount?

As the idea of that is to adjust throttle pedal travel, if you have the bracket there I have a spare zcars lever as I did not need it with my non bike engine set up.

You may well already know about this so please ignore if that's the case.

This will definately work.
You will be able to make it so that the throttle moves less in relation to pedal movement intially and more to pedal mobement towards the end of the pedal travel.

Yes it will work,
Or change the pedal ratio but that will possibly require more overall pedal movement.

I have adjusted the pedal ratio and it seems more easier on the response now thanks
