Ok doing final fit ups on parts and it's looking tidy!!! Unlike my garage 😋

I played around with the the shifter and shaped the base and fitted.

Exhaust offered up and checked, might have to trim centre section as the tip sticks out a bit too much and think they will moan when inspected.

Also started to pipe in oil cooler and accusump. Just a quick question: how high do you think I can go with the oil cooler and accusump? Was planning on fitting accusump on bulk/fire wall and oil cooler as high a normal mini radiator but a slim one!? What you guys think? Not too high???

They're the cheapest for a reason. Awful service.

Again they're the cheapest for a reason lol.

I'm still waiting for a replacement engine steady that broke in February. I email them every month and get the same reply 'be out to you next week'. Yea right!

The doors, boot, bonnet have been reasonable they took quite a lot of prep to paint them. One of the door skins came away at the bottom recently though. Not the most thought out design, had to glass it back on properly and paint it again.

I have carbon door cards. Fit was good I thought although finish wasn't perfect - few pockets across the surface however I waited a long time for them so decided to keep them and accept the imperfections.
The fibreglass bumpers were good though.

Just rehashed my modified reverse system. Got rid of the promotive cable as I could see me getting fed up trying to feed the clutch whilst pulling on a cable waiting for the dog reverse box to fall in........ So........

Removed the cable and fitted a linear actuator with control board. I basically set it up to work off an on/off toggle switch to fit in with the other dash items(but fitted with a cool flip stop missile cover). I used a dpst(double position single throw) switch and on the other side fitted a small 12v buzzer so I know I'm in reverse! The linear actuator and board mean you can vary limits, accuracy, speed and stall time. This means you can flick the switch and the actuator will keep pulling in or pushing out( I have it set at 3 seconds) until you have fed the clutch and it has dropped into gear on the reverse/forward box!

Must say it works a treat!
