Theres a camp site in Porth, opposite the Mermaid pub. Can't remember the name of it but some of the SMAG members go there as its quieter and 5 minutes from Trevelgue and ten to Newquay (driving).

Try messaging Alex or Miniman86 on here, as he's stayed there a couple of times.

i really would use caution when booking a good deal though. newquay is very popular with the young drinkers like me and ive stayed in some dives where the walls were crawling.

camborne and lovely :X whatever next... its the only place in my beloved county where a burnt out car and 2 washing machines pass off as garden furniture !!

on a lighter note ill be going :shades: viva la Kernow!!

lol i would not say cambornes the only hole in cornwall lol, theres a few towns and villages i wouldent fancy breaking down in LOL

and as for places to stay you get what you pay for to be honest. theres a premier inn quintrell downs (which is about 3 miles away from porth) and theres a travellodge right near the train station in newquay if you want somewhere that has to keep standards and prices reasonable.

Cheers. Wife really doesn't want to camP with the baby, so looks like we're shelling out for a hotel.

We stayed in a campsite across from the Mermaid, but lots of good things re Travelli (sp?) - but main concern voiced was noise so it may be something to think about, quite a few go for longer than just the weekend and make a full holiday of it - not that the weather is holiday weather but heyho! Fingers crossed I'll have Stitch done and warmed up ready for the journey there and back! Excited to be able to go in my own mini this time! ^_^

Last few years the best weather has been in May, albeit the end of May.

Already book the caravan for this year at last year's show.

Should hopefully have two Minis between us, so should make the journey a little more enjoyable.

See you all down there!
