hey guys , so my dad has had a galaxy ace and im not to familiar with the android software (iphone person) now he wants to make it louder as he carnt hear it and already missed 4 calls , so ive been looking and read a few different ways to do it but from what i gather you have to root? and install something :S , was wondering if anyone had any idea and any help would be much appreciated

Just turn the volume up with the button on the side of the phone.

Go into settings>sounds>volumes

And you should find ringtone volume or something like that there

( same as turning up on side of phone though :P)

Ive never searched so dont know about installing anything, cant help this time im afraid :(

The different ringtone thing may work. Sometimes when your hearing goes it's only certain frequencies that become difficult to pick up, that was certainly the case with my right ear.. A higher pitched ring tone may help.

If its an MP3 ringtone it could be the MP3 file itself thats the problem. Try a different MP3
