Another delivery from Minispares
Swopped this little fella out as mine was split
Little bits do matter 😉
Recovered the old Mankey parcel shelf
Popped that in along with the back seat
Im using seats from a later model same pattern but more supportive my old seats are in excellent condition and will stay in storage
That done I fitted the inner sill carpets
New hand brake cables
Back to it this weekend

I reckon give up on Photobucket and go to Imgur instead. Photobucket don't deserve your custom given recent events and Imgur is easier to use anyway.

Fitted that then turned my attention back to the interior
Bottom dash rail got cleaned up and fitted
Starting to look like a mini again
Fitted the seat belt storks
About time I put the front seats in
I also fitted the heater you can just see it in this pic
Ive also fitted a new wiper stalk and built up the steering colum shroud
Im off work next week so fingers crossed Ill have the new dash fitted then its time to get the engine sorted

Nice! Is that bracket with the 4 studs inside the iar intake the original shape? Mine had rusted away to nothing so am getting a new one made (They are not available anymore)

Yes it is I got the plastic air box off a guy on here as I’ve deleted the face vents so this is an early air box
mine had rusted away too and yes you can’t buy the metal bracket (as far as I’m aware)
this one wasn’t in bad nick so I gave it a lick of paint to keep the rust at bay
I think you can still buy the air box but it’s over £40 pretty sure Huddersfield do them

Sods law had a week off but only managed to get a short time on the car ☹
Turned my attention to the dash
Trial fit
Not bad for a first fit
Had to do a bit of fettling to fit the clocks to this bit
Popped on the wipers
Steering wheel is being changed for a new one still in two minds to go for a similar one or perhaps wood rim or even go back to standard
Thats as far as I can go with the interior so turned my attention to the engine
Dug it out from the back of the garage
Got to degreasing the bits Id missed first time around
You can see Ive removed the clutch came off nice and easy ( thankfully 😅 )
Wasnt in bad nick but I have a new one to fit
Usual grubbiness
Came up ok and yes Im changing the clutch oil seal 👍🏻
Had yet another delivery from Minispares so refurbed the ( wok as its commonly called ) replaced the rusty worn out bits as required
Came up ok
Next job paint the engine block
