I will first start off by apologising in case this is a members advert, however something looks a little fishy with the reasoning for sale starting with them being too busy and then they are "moving country". Other things which got me wondering was the "quick sale needed" part and the fact that the car doesn't show any number plates and is kept under a cover in the photos.. Tell me if im wrong but looks a bit suspect. Here is the link- http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2326f3fc58.

Strange that you can't see the roof in any of the pictures?

Also all the pictures are old and there's not much info on what he has done I would definitely avoid it.

I'm fairly sure auto's were only available in 998cc in 1990.

Sounds like the transmission has had it. Needs another auto tranmission or a manual engine and gearbox. What he is offering is a rolling shell with no tax or MOT.

Doesn't seem that dodgy to me - just a really crap ad, some people just can't be bothered to make the effort they need to get the best for their cars. His English isn't the best either, but that is no reason on its own to smell a rat.

It does seem a bit weird that he joined eBay on the 9th of December, has no feedback or history what so ever. And this is his only ad

If you were moving country you'd surely be putting more than just a car on eBay?

myquicksale247 does not make for a good ebay name, sounds shifty already,

lack of description and random blankets on the roof make me think either he is paranoid about the mini catching a cold or there is some distinctive decal on the roof he is trying to hide.

it may not be dodgy but damn he can't sell a car.

it does look like a tidy one though

Could be hiding distinctive roof decals as it might be stolen ?

There is photos now, not sure if they were before, without the roof covered. No distinctive decal just a plain roof that matches the car.
