Hi,

Please can anyone recommend a fuel pump for the Volvo T4 engine? I think the standard pump is in the tank in the Volvo but I will be putting an inline one in the tunnel.

The engine will be pretty much standard spec but with a DTA S40 ecu. So looking for something that wont break the bank to get the car runnning, and if I ever do tune it up Ill change the pump if I have to.

Thanks

Ben

Hi Ben,

271113375012 on eBay, is good for 250bhp and cheap enough, I am using a in tank pump but will be pushing more bhp than standard, so it was a tad more expensive, £80 I think.

Thanks Luke, that one looks good and good price too.
Do you know if the water pump is part of the engine or do I need to buy an external one of those too?

Thanks

The water pump is bolted to the o/s rear corner of the engine behind the cambelt, at the rear where the main steel coolant pipe exits the block, it's driven by the timing belt, it would be good practice to change the cambelt and water pump (unless its been done already) dead easy on the Volvo engine no locking tools needed for a cambelt change.

Pm your number I can send you a photo if you like.
