If it's been repaired, it doesn't matter if it's been in an accident or not...

Of course it does, how do you know its been repaired properly? You only have the sellers word for it?

Don't quote me but I think write offs bump up the insurance as well.

I know what you're saying but the same could be said about mini's though. Some people put milk bottles in the sills to fill them up, it may have been rotten to the core and bodged up but no one would ever know without stripping it, the chances are people would strip any mini unless proof of restoration was given

The drivers door was reskinned and very small repair to the quarter an yes the plate is on the cross member I have all the pictures of the cars damage so potential buyers would be able to see how light it was, im sure most minis have had more work done than my car purely down to rot not accident damage

I agree it's probably better than most Mini's.

But, It's still according to the DVLA at one point it was an insurance write off repair.

If its a CAT C I think it needs a VIC check.

Yeah CAT C requires a VIC, at the end of the day it's still down as a write off

not being funny pal but it seems to me your evading direct questions and not being fully open with responses to the thread. I can't value this and certainly wouldn't go near it as a purchase.

Its a lovely car either way and right up my street :proud:

These cars are collectable but the CAT C effects that value. I pretty much agree with Noahs valuation without the bump anywhere between £7 and £10k depending on condition ...with the CAT C £5 - £6k

You could do a great write up on the car and its history which will increase its sale'ability

The JCG extras all help especially the signed certificate

Hmmm with the bump, no certificate, but with the nice history extras, not bad mileage, rare car...the price will come down to condition especially the bodywork

I'd want £5k min but hope for £6k

Its a bad time of year to sell if you can.... hang on to her till spring/summer time!
