Your car will look great on a set 10" wheels and some MK2 tail lights, maybe a proper MK2 boot lid too

What about one of those little over taking Mirrors that clip onto the front seams?

http://www.somerford...roducts_id=2628
Planning on getting one for mine.
  • Some 10" (or 12" if you dont want to change down) Rose Petals as Artful Dodger said. Getting them in 10's soon :D
  • Mk2 rear lamps with maybe a vintage style reversing light tucked up neatly under the rear bumper?
  • Seen on some Jap Minis, a little high level brake lamp that fits on a bracket but looks really period, I'll try and find a pic as it's what I'm planning to do to mine also.
  • Mk1/2 bootlid?
  • Some nice tan leather bonnet straps would suit your Minis colour
  • Classic bucket seats, Cobra have brought out a new range in the new issue of the Mini mag that look lovely
  • Amber indicators
  • A roof rack if you want a rally look
  • Older style bonnet badges, Morris Cooper ones would suit yours I reckon
  • Maybe a bonnet numberplate, obviously in the legal colours. Planning on doing that to mine at some point too lol
I think way too much about other peoples cars lol, should be doing this all to my own! :P

Well then you are stuck 8) I think a mk2 retro look will be cool, and mean you could keep the grill:P

I think 10' rose petal wheels, archless and a mk2 (mk1) boot lid. Maybe even the badges as well!

Or mark 3 boot with mark 1/2 plate holder and light on the hinge's ;] give that very early mk3 look

Arches are Wood & Picket from Wood and Picket. The bonnet badge is the standard Mk3 one.

You should be able to pick one up at a show or on Ebay for a lot less than the one above.

To do retro properly you'll need..

Oversills
Chicken wire
Filler
The Sun
Rattle cans
Pancake air filter

Thats how we used to modify them anyway!!!!
