Everyone seems to go with 60s/mk1 look. So ive decided to go for a Mk3 70s feel.
To do retro properly you'll need..
Oversills
Chicken wire
Filler
The Sun
Rattle cans
Pancake air filter
Thats how we used to modify them anyway!!!!
So true!
When people say 'retro' really wish they would decide which decade first!
Does help making ideas easier.
In the end cars potentially just end up looking like they've had a range of bits thrown at 'em.
So to the original OP. When you say 'retro' what do you mean exactly.
Are you after a particular period ie 60's, 70's, 80's or 90's.

I agree with Kirby. One of the best turn arounds ever, I like the modern style but really, retro is so much cooler.
Get yourself a pair of Ray Bans and go pretend your Steve McQueen you hero!

May i ask how ? Sure arent they new enough to the market or is that just me that new enough lol
But i do have to say one of the koolest retro mods has to be the roof rack ;)

This was taken in 2001 but it still looks the same, car is a 95 Cooper SPi.
I've recently added upper door mouldings (horrible job to do) and changed the mirrors.

Where did you get your reverse lamp from? after 1 for my dads mk1 :) nice mini by the way

Here's mine...
This was taken in 2001 but it still looks the same, car is a 95 Cooper SPi.
