Yep that is the one I saw.

I presumed it was a home made jobby by the quality of the welding

Where did you see it? Did Kappa show it you? The welding looked fine to me and I have seen a lot of welding over the years.

Edit: the paint is not the best though, been done by hand at some point I think.

My Mistake, I looked like one for sale at the show. (That one did have better paint)

I understand Tamworth bays defence of the welding now.

These tanks were made in the 80's , The midland mini centre used to sell them along with other suppliers Motoplus etc

That is interesting to know, any idea of what it is worth? If I was too ever sell, probably never will though

Obviously I cant be sure it is the same manufacture as that one and you might be lucky but I thought Downton and speedwell used to source genuine ones?

That is what another member said on another forum, if it is a SERCK tank, what would this be worth? will try to find a plate or stamp on there.

Yeah I found the same link, this is the exact same shape as mine, but cannot find a plate on there, but there maybe a stamp on there.

Anyone know what these are worth if its the SERCK version?

Genuine Serck versions are worth a reasonable amount but without the ID plate it is probably a copy.
The lower curve profile on the bottom of yours does not look the same?
