I'm planning a motorbike rwd build on my Mini.
Been thinking of using the Mini diff and with the Mini inner pot joints, in a chain drive config.
Wondering how much power and torque the Mini pot joints will handle?
Going to use a ZX12 engine and the car will be used for autocross and trackdays.

I think promotive use pot joints on the R1 conversion. I would imagine the diff would break before the pot joints. Saying that im pretty sure z cars use a sierra diff which uses bolt on flanges and is probably a lot easier to mount a sprocket to and support on just pillow block bearings. A mini diff would need to have the output covers retainted inorder to support the pot joints and output shaft. Westgarage offer the conversions but are a bit pricey!
