I got pretty lucky with my CE. It was an older ladies car, low miles and been garaged its whole life! The retro idea and gold trim are growing on me =] still trying to decide on wheels

few jobs done this morning, and it was effin freezin......

new floor panel tacked, welded, sanded back and a good Por15 coat

while i was Porring,...cleaned and coated the old innerwing piece and new welds of the new innerwing,

well, bitter cold this afternoon, but managed the flitch panel.....

final fit, e-coat removed and pilot holes drilled

thank Graham, offered the closing panel today which was my worry a bit, but it sit's snug under the scuttle, hopefully I will be able to clean the old wing tmz and put him back with all the new bits in place... ;D

well guys, few busy days at work last week hence 1 week has gone bye,.......but started again today,

to get the front wing back on.... trial fitting the panels and fettling with new O/S panels ,

innerwing top repair

will fit the door first and when happy I will be sanding and Por15 the panels tmz B4 welding them in position

Alex, haven't thought of wheels yet, I an between keeping it old style or go Retro, once I done the engine, I will have to decide

Its getting there nicely, MITP will be a breeze!!
