Just after a realistic idea of what my cooper s is worth should I decide to sell it (I am thinking hard at the mo) it is a restoration project that hasn't seen the road in over 30 years it is all there apart from a rear subframe (replacement is coming) and a wheel ? i have most of the panels to sort the outside and the interior just needs a scrub up and new carpet all the hard to find bits are there speedo twin tanks . I have a v5 in my name and all numbers match engine needs rebuilding but all parts are there and are genuine bmc parts.
Don't really know if I'm going to find time to do this project which is a shame because I really want to but with kiddie number 3 on way time is precious. I have recently watched a cooper s go on eBay for silly money and didn't know if it had been inflated by friends perhaps.
Thanks for reading :)

Cooper S minis are fetching massive premiums today. What they go for us what they are worth! If its a genuine early S you have a lot of money there. Put some pictures up please!!

Edit: that's lovely! Proper Austin S. restore it! Can only go up on value, and think of the investment!

please try not to sell the registration and documents to one person and a shell to another. this is illegal and means that min no longer exists:( they are worth money bit i think that a car is worth more if its all original and has all the correct documentation intact:)

cant stop looking at it. really nice and looks to be an easy job compared to other mk1 S that have been restored!

I agree completely they will under no circumstances be split don't worry about that ! It don't look to bad I haven't started to strip it yet but from a quick poke around the floors look proper good the front panel will go again as will the boot lid the bootfloor is gone around the edge and seat squab area but I have a heritage one ready to go. The only Bad bit really is the roof and gutter dhich are holed at the corners ( 30 years under a sheet for you) bit i do have a Replacement!! The interior just needs a good clean and a pair of seat membrane things and steering wheel recover . I do so want to do this ! Posted Image
