i bought it here.....but it will be going back with me......the military gives me free shipping on 2 cars....and since it will be over 20 years old when i get ready to go back i can take it with me...without any mods to the glass or doors to meet the US saftey standards....i pretty much just got to convert the gauges from metric.....which aint that bad pretty much just the speedo......o yea by the way i paid 850 US dollars for it....which i think the conversion rate for yalls pound is like $1 will buy like 1.50 pound.....

Hi Motion,

congrats on your Mini, looks super!

I have a Mayfair too, so maybe we can help each other out like where to get hte best price.

some websites to get spares are:

http://www.minispares-online.co.uk/
http://www.minispare...operCatalog.cfm

and for the 2 major magazines:

http://www.minimag.co.uk/
http://www.miniworld.co.uk/

hope this helps out.

Which is doing what?

im assuming that you mean the conversion rate???? but anyway....i get paid in US Dollars....right now the conversion rate is almost 2-1 which means it will cost me 2 USD to buy 1 British Pound........so it will cost me twice as much
