OK so its been a while!!.
cut things short DAY 8,9,10,11 and 12 have been measuring fitting, trimming removing streaching and shrinking of panels. A large amount of head scratching and Tea. the result is the back end is almost ready to weld on.
The drain holes proved to be fun in the end I found some electric ducting with a 0.08mm wall thickness. to create the round edges I used an old steering arm which has a hardened ball on the end. I place a tube under the floor and match the floor and tube together.

so after replacing the magnum step with an M-Machine the door now fits the sill line. the O/S is now with sill and rear panel all welded and glued. the N/S all fits but I have not welded rear panel or sill on as I have the feeling I am going to be moving panels around.
I have removed the from screen frame and scuttle so the I can start the roof correction.

the silver bits are the stretched metal or high spots, caused by some muppet trying to hammer out dents or (dints as steve would say) from inside with a ballpain hammer. it will have to be shrunk using heat lots of shrinking in fact. I have already started, photos to follow, and some of the big divets have popped back out. this due to the tension in the panel. happy days.

Feel a bit sea sick looking at that roof
yes know what you mean. its the only option is repair. New ones do not grow on trees, saying that I do have a new old stock roof skin but I also have a second pickup.
