Hello mate.

I have a zeemax body kit. Was bought from www.zeemax.com but others supply them.

Theres about 2 or 3 zeemax kits on ebay at the moment, There about half price! so £250-300 pounds.

The zeemax is one of the best fitting kits but mostly they need a little adjusting to fit perfectly. Basically it depends on how good you are or the person doing the work will be.

The majic kit is basically a cheaper verion, it looks pretty much the same but from what a friend has said about his one, he'd never buy it again. He got an extra wide version and had to cut every peice to make it fit the way he wanted.

Basically Prices are

Offical Zeemax = £560
Zeemax on ebay = £250-350
Offical Majic Kit = £300

www.zeemax.com
www.autofashion.co.uk

If i was you id try and find a RACOR kit. Looks better than any of the above.

Hope this helps mate

Adam

Yeah don't touch autofashion junk. I have one of ther Extra Wide Majic Kits, it was a nightmare to fit, all of the wheel arches were different widths so I had to remould them. Then there's the bumpers, they actually fitted better as side skirts than bumpers. Once I finally sorted out this problem it was ready to bolt on, only to find the wheel arches didn't reach the side skirts, they were an inch too short.

Anyway after a lot of hard work and several tonnes of fibreglass later I got it looking really good, it's actually a real good fit now.

Autofashion kits have to be blended into the metal work or they look really poor.

Oh and they say it takes 8 weeks for the kits to be made, 16 weeks later I was still waiting. Also there after sales service is poo. If they actually answer the phone, they never know the answer so they say they'll phone you back, but they don't, they don't reply to e-mails after. They never did get back to me to tell me what size wheels were needed to fill the arches because they didn't know themselves.

Avoid Autofashion if I were you, I will certainly never deal with them again.

:D

Can you fit the Zeemax kit without blending it in?

That would make things a whole lot easier.

yes you can, mine isnt blended as if u have a bang the kits gonna be all cracked. Make sure you put the rubber strips between the kit and shell to stop it vibrating.

My car is lowered quite a bit, bumpers are 2 inch from the ground, some speed humps are dodgy, like those yellow and black tall narrow humps.

Its down to good judgement of the driver, if the bump is too big dont attempt it.

My kit always scrapes the humps even if i go slow but it has not cracked due to them and my kit is blended into the metal work.

Oh and the black strips arent there to stop vibration, they are there to cover the gaps from the poor fitting kit.

Makes a difference a little, depends on the insure company, i had an inspector come and view my car as they didnt understand a mini could be worth so much.
