The points ststem has been in place for yonks really. It's had a little revamp recently though.

Little being the word. Not as much change as promised and the rules and regs still have not been altered.

Actually the above is out of date.

The new levels are as follows:

• 3 - 1 day posting ban.
• 4 - 7 day posting ban.
• 5 - Permanent posting pan.

The rules will be updated when these are finalised.

Don't panic though, the idea behind the changes is that people get two slaps on the wrist before anything actually happens to them. In addition, depending on the reason you were warned, the points are removed after so many days.

For example, spamming results in a point increment of 1, this point will be removed after 30 days.
