As title says really got some old crap 17s I wuna get rid of

Do I need to get the old tyres off before giving them to scrap man

Stick on eBay. Someone will have them.

You won't get much for alloys any way, purely because, they don't weigh a-lot.

We scrapped a door from a Corsa C a while back and got £2. So I wouldn't expect alot more for a 4 Alloy wheels that probably weigh less!

There are new rules regarding scrap metal; I'm not sure if you can just walk into a scrap yard anymore?
Anyone scrapped anything in the last couple of months?

Each one of these wheels probs weigh about a door lol a few people on the net are saying is about £8 each and nar these wheel are **** lol big chunks taken out of em etc lol

I took alias of scrap down a good few months ago and was fine scrap men don't give a flying asking as they get what they want

about £1 a kilo and cut the tyres off, you will need to take photo id and something with your address on

yeah you can still scrap stuff easily just need I.D and stuffs done via cheque so theres a paper trail. least thats what i was told by them. so hardly worth cashing in a cheque for £2 lol

Only scrapped that door about 3 months ago...

Mind you, that was Dagenham. I'm pretty sure they'll take what they're given down there.

We got cash in hand, for all of £2. Did get me a nice Ice cream though.

Well a door is abit different to pure ally isn't it!
I'ts around £1.30 a kilo over here

My neighbour got £26 for 4 alloys not sure on size were not massive

Its not pure aluminium.

Hence why its called an Alloy wheel. As it's aluminium alloy.

I'm 100% sure I will walk away with more that £2 lol iv been doing scrap runs for years for work stuff etc and have never walked out with less than £50
