nightfire red

I need to get some bodywork done on the car soon. Maybe if I take my RC shell in they can paint that for me too - and hopefully they won't laugh at me too much

:-)

Not sure that car paint will stick to the plastic. Was your car in Practical Classics?

yeah that's my mini. Was a really interesting day. The photographer who did the photoshoot was a really interesting guy. He'd done auto photography for pretty much his whole life and had some good stories about people he'd met along the way.

yes, only the tamiya sport tuned motor, and an electronic speed controller. Might get some oil filled shocks and universal drive shafts next though, goes well enough for a toy though :gimme: :gimme:

Not a Tamiya Mini, but an Xray T1M with a Chevron Monster Mini body shell.

Cool. I was going to get a Tamiya mini, but I've decided to get a thunder tiger nitro

Good choice mate !! Was thinking about upgrading the motor which is best, what do i have to look out for?

When doing the shell clean then paint then cut, be sure to do a good job on masking up windows and wheel arches otherwise the paint will run under the masking tape, paint wise i use the stuff from halfords nothing special i've never had any problems.

Mardave g2 motors are good for the price of them, something like £8.95ish. It's what I've got in my flying fish drift car and is quick enough
