I love how if you blink, you might miss the engine actually coming out.

Yehh i thought the same, didnt really fancy the idea of holding the engine in the air for about 20 seconds so i can get 4 frames of video. I did think about taking a photo at smaller intervals but the output video would have been so much longer. And didn't really fancy having to go through all the frames to edit the output video.

The engines back in the car now, ive tried to get as much GoPro stuff of the assembly as i can so there may be more involved in the assembly video than the first (Head rebuilding, clutch/ flywheel assembly etc)

I may have put some bits on without capturing it as i got quite carried away this weekend.

Hopefully by this weekend the car will be back together and driving so keep those eyes peeled for the video.

If I ever tried to make one of these videos it would be crap, would just be me drinking tea staring at the car, dancing when songs I like come on the radio and me kicking things when it doesn't work!

Great video though Jack, can't wait for the others. :)

Ok, just to keep you updated...

The cars running and im putting the doors and front end back on tonight. (i had them sprayed white)

I must admit, there are afew points towards the end of the "engine back in" process where i may have forgotten to film for my timelapse. You know how it is.... You get carried away and the last thing you think about is, "lets document this"

Once ive got time, which may some time now as im on holiday till Tuesday, then 2 days after in newquay.

Sorry, keep your eyes peeled for it

That was absolutely brilliant!

I had a proper grin watching both those videos!

It made me laugh at the fact that you get the grand inspection every once in a while!  ;-)
