hi welcome to my austin mini 1963 mk1 super deluxe restoration it will be needing alot of work. i am in two minds on rebuilding this shell or reshelling it. whats your thoughts? ile let the pictures do the talking.

collection dragging it away was tense didnt no if i was going to end up with to halfs.

Strip the interior & get some more floor/ door frame shots as if its stable id brace asap.

Best of luck with this one, once the shells been repaired/replaced have you thought about getting it dipped and protected? These guys do the electro coating so it should keep the rust out for a lot longer, http://surfaceprocessing.co.uk/ it's kinda expensive but I recon its worth it on a mk1

thanks mate yeh i have herd about this but depends on the money aslong as its solid and kept out of rain it should be ok. if i dipped it now all that would come out is box full of bits :lol:

I want it! Don't loose those original numberplates! They always look better with the original 3d ones rather than the pressed ones. I'm sure the shell is saveable all the usual mini repairs just more spread out!

hi it has been stood for 12 years there is weeds everywhere. i dont think it has ever been covered thats why its so bad if it would of been coverd i bet it wouldnt of gone so bad. anyway needs to be put right but knowing where to start would be ideal lol cheers tom
