any ideas. fuel pressure is not too high (about 3). doing it on idle. not the normal situation of it dripping out the air filter at the front when sitting there idling its before that happens. would I need a new seal kit or something like that? cheers

Sounds like the seals have gone. They do become brittle with age. It's a pretty straight forward job to replace them.

yeah, thought it was coming out of the bottom float chamber cap, but realised it was a bit higher up. already ordered the kit. cheers
