hey guys , so i am in teh process of wiring my mini up and will be using megajolt, and the dash is sat in my bedroom and got me thinking , if i drilled a series of holes in the back of the plastic where the rev gauge is and joined them up with the correct wiring and connected them to my megajolt so the light when i hit my limit set would it be sufficient to light just that rev gauge up also would there be any problem in drilling through the plastic ?

If the megajolt has a output for a adjustable rev limit light then yes, be careful drilling plastic just use light pressure on the drill and watch when it breaks through initially it can spiral the drill bit inwards.
