Finally made up the shop decals, I think they turned out pretty good. Now I just need to pick up some more metal to weld in new shock towers/turrets.

Such a good move to drop it on the 10s.

Looks real nice, good work :)

This is looking great, well done.

I've been looking into using a dgv also. How does it go fitting under the standard Clubman bonnet and have you had to modify it for the blow through setup?

It fits fantastic in a clubman, lots of room left above, more if you use the filter it normally comes with. I have not modified it yet for blow through as turbo is on hold. I actually ended up putting the DGV on another clubman for a customer because he wanted it more than I did and I can persue the fuel injection route I originally wanted to go down with the turbo. Working on to many other Minis at the moment, but I hope to build the rear turrets this week but we will see how much time I can come up with. I also need to purchase some air ride 7000 shocks but a bit pricey at the moment so I can redesign the front. But I think the car will be fun this Spring, just needs a bit more tweakin,

They're definately not cheap but will be well worth it when you're looking at the end product.

Thanks for the help

Here is a pick of the Weber I installed on to Bryans Mini. The only thing I don't like about it is if you have the carb one way it has a nice throttle cable routing, other way makes it like a s-shape but then you can put a spring for the return to the exhaust stud vs the bulk head.

I'm still tinkering with mine, this is about as low as it will go, raising rear shock towers up to gain that last 2", but there is something holding me up 1/2". Will check it out this weekend. Then I got to focus on getting the front done. Still thinking raising the front subframe is the way forward, but I won't have time for that this season with everything else going on.... getting closer though!

I had a little time last night to get them both tacked in. And I was able to get that last gap closed up, so this is as low as it can go, finally! Need to get it done ASAP so I can start driving to work, it's been since last November since it last long ride.

Got a Mini T bumper coming for the rear, been trying to get one of these for years for a bargain.... I was almost about the shave the rear, but convinced myself to stay the course, this will look cleaner/classier.

I hear ya, it's just that I have had 13's for the past 7 years on all my Minis and wanted to try something new... to me. Plus 10's get's you that much lower... I am still debating whether or not to paint the centers vintage gold. I may, I have 1 can of plastidip to try it out with. But I got a bunch of work to get done. Can't wait to do the SC injection setup and turbo at some point. Gonna finish suspension and interior this go around. Then go back to engine and go crazy. Want to do a wire tuck, maybe go to a 12 fuse gm setup and have the fuse box inside, run all the wires in the fenders, etc. Paint the motor green. Got a bunch of parts laying around for that. Anyway, gonna try and get home soon to do a little more welding. Can't wait for the air management to show up, and front air sleeves.

This past weekend I finally finished up the rear turrets. Got all the welding done, seam sealed it, primered, and then painted with east wood black/aqua trunk splatter spray, and then top coated with a satin clear. I really like the way it turned out. The air management has arrived and I am mocking that up right now in the spare tire well. Waiting on new front Air Lift Shock/Sleeves to arrive to start re-fabbing the front. I am hoping by next weekend she will be back on the road. Anyway, here are 2 pics.

Had a semi productive weekend. Got the air management installed, lines ran, new carpet installed. Now I am working on fabricating the front air mounts. This is the mock up, I need to order some steel and hopefully bang it out this week.

Still want to go 1 more inch down in the front, maybe 2 if possible...

Would be cool to slam this one as well, go for the patina look.
