At 80 Eldon St, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S1 4GT there lives little engineering firm, Dexters Engineering has been there for 30 years.
I went and got some machining work done by them, the work was of excellent quality and was the cheapest I have seen available, the man knew so much about everything to do with an engine I really was in awe.

He explained that in his hay day he was grinding 20 cranks a week, now if hes lucky he does 6 a year, I felt this was a bit of an injustice as hes a great bloke, with great machines available and hes losing out on customers, probably because nobody has heard of the place.
I got my head skimmed for 30 quid which is a very good price.

just wanted everyone to know about this machine shop, and was hoping some fellow mini lovers could provide this firm with the work they deserve, it really was great!

Give him a ring on 0114 275 0007 and see what he can do for you, even better pay the machine shop a visit.

Hope some of you go and use this place, and post some reviews of your experience because I honestly think ive found a hidden gem! :)
