First. Grow a pair. Do you have a *******? No? So you are male then.... ;-)

Second? Will cost more than you think.

What you thinking? Rear or front mounted? What engine? Gears? Reverse? What loom? Standard chassis or fresh space frame?

Atmo or turbo (or other forced induction) ?

Going for fast road or track?

ill be honest, its for the reliability of it, but ive read up that bike engines arent that reliable? but i dont know where to start, lowerest budget possible

Surely if you're going for reliability, i'd assume going for a honda b-series engine or something would be easier/cheaper? (i'm a novice so im only clutching at straws here) but bike engine conversions seem ALOT more indepth then a vtec conversion... you can buy the subframes/driveshafts here... http://www.allspeedengineering.com/

Just need an engine/box/pedal box/gear linkages i think??

If you can fabricate your own subframe to hold the bike engine you could save money. If not you will need to go to someone like pro-motive.
Just look at all the build threads past and present and you can see how much goes into them.
I would have around £7000+ set aside if you're buying mostly off the self parts as alongside a conversion kit you need to consider brakes, wiring loom, suspension, fueling, exhaust system, dash display etc
The cost can get out of hand quite quickly.

I think from the sounds of it he won't be fabricating much of anything. No shame in it though. I'm not much of a welder myself....yet ;D .
However, that is a fair assessment price wise and probably a little cheap if you are going with a pro-motive swap with all the goodies. And honestly a VTEC swap isn't going to save you much more off of that so if you are in it to spend the least amount of money possible, maybe a conversion isn't for you.

Don't let this get you down though! I had the exact same intentions. Even worse, I started hacking my mini with the grand illusion that there was no other way it was happening. Since then I have refined my ultimate plan and I think i'll be looking at a larger bore A series engine for the time being. Maybe graduate to a conversion :gimme: .
