I have a ''full'' race car, so I want to sit as low as possible (low center of gravity and improved feeling with the car), look where my sholder is compared to the window ;D

The steering colomn has to come down alot! It asks for some extra strenght in the original shackle and in the dashboard 'beam'.

Beam reinforcement

Making a adjusable steering bricket (I need quick release steering to get in the seat...)

Found a pipe with the same diamater

welding some plates to handle the radial forces on the steering colomn, burned my left arm *&%$% :mmkay:  but it was worth it.

Result so far, still fully demountable :)

The steering colomn is still to long, but I have to wait for the quick release before I can cut it.

In the meantime (waiting for carparts!) greased the bearings.

I think its pretty up to date now :proud:

Don't hisitate to ask some questions or give some tips!

Greetz from Holland,

Thx, the radiator comes in the front, i need there the extra weight, And it wouldn't be efficiënt to place it next to the hot engine. :)

Try using a civic front cross member instead of the crx one, you'll gain a lot more manifold clearance.
