Great build mate ! nice to see another car that is as much work as mine was, dont loose direction with it as its great fun once its on the road,i have done 17,000 miles in mine since i built it 4 years ago and it still makes me smile every time i take it out..It will bite your ass a few times when you first get it running but trust me it will be worth it...

Holy moly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never ever thought I would see this - a CA in a Mini

ok few changes to the car. built a jig and going to build a new rear subframe using a mix of nissan s13 and s14 parts.

Much respect, The CA can be a bit temperamental with BE bearings and the poor breather system. I rebuilt my CA a couple of years ago and it's not the easiest engine to get right. It can be done though. I also have an S14a that I rebuilt about 7 years ago so I know my way around the SX's ;D

Good luck with this and I have subscribed :proud:

Pete

Thanks.I plan to fit new bearings and valve stem seal. Engine has done around 80000 mile but been off the road for 6 years.

I don't usually look in the engine conversion section but glad i did.

Looks like the foundations of a brilliant car.

Good luck with the rebuild.

Ben

That looks good so far.  insane set up with 300hp it will be a quick car. What are your plans for the final look?  is it going to be really wide on 13s?
